Description: AmeriHybrid® Scentiment® begonias with their pleasant fragrance are absolutely unique versus all other tuberous begonias. Scores of years of patient breeding which reached back into the genetics of an old fragrant species (B. socotrana) are represented in our Scentiment® begonias.Unlike all of our other AmeriHybrid® begonias, Scentiments® do not come true from seed. Therefore, the Scentiments® we offer have been slowly and vegetatively propagated. Consequently, the Scentiment® tubers we offer are likely to be at least two and more likely three or even four years old. This is why cost price is relatively high and why we only offer them in a 11/4” diameter and up size. Scentiments® branch so extraordinarily well, that even a small 11/4” tuber will fill a 10” pot.
